Nation By Nation (23Apr)

19-23Apr09 -- The only question that remains now is what to wear to the funeral for west. (Mouseover flags for info)

A U S T R A L I A Australia - USA doctor practiced on Aussies, killed 3, and ran.
- Governance admits to "recession". If the west web spies didn't just collect terrabytes and instead read the blogs, they would've known this long ago.

B O L I V I A Bolivia - USA has been linked to the unsuccessful Morales hit. Obama's denying everything. Both statements are shocking, unexpected, and surprising aren't they?

C A N A D A Canada - Wants the Canadian imprisoned and tortured in one of the USA concentration camps back.
- Gives self the right to confiscate assets linked to crimes.

C H I N A China - 30B EUR deal with Russia for oil.
- Begins prying Jamaica away from the clutches of USA with 140M USD loans. Sideline: The standard procedure for enslaving the world, known as "Washington Consesus", has now been replaced by "Beijing Consensus". WashCon enslaved nations through: a) privatisation (corporate hostile take over of public assets); b) free trade (destruction of local markets and competition and installing USA monopoly dictate like with the coke industry in Bolivia, sugar industry in Czech Rep, oil industry in Sudan, diamond industry of South Africa, etc); c) deregulation of public spending (destruction of hospitals, schools, and all public infrastructure to create design poverty like basically everywhere where USA/UK have stepped). WashCon was used by IMF, WB, BIS, and USTD (USA treasury dept), the chief world poverty designers, as a standard procedure to enslave nations. WashCon is no more! The Freeworld is turning to BeiCon which has invested near 100B USD into 6 nations thus far which include Jamaica now, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Venezuela, Afghanistan. BeiCon chief aim is liberating nations from the dollar slavery. (Note that USA is in wars with the top BeiCon nations).

C Z E C H Czech - Arrests D Duke, USA senator, on charges -- get this! -- either "denying or approving of nazi genocide". Again, his crime is that his book can be "interpreted" as an effort at justifying or challenging the holocaust". It's a bit like hiring a prostitute or being celebate. Both crimes but they're undecided. When it comes to EUnuchs pleasing their masters, logic never interferes.

E U EU - Says in uncertain terms it may investigate Bush II war crimes after all. It's only been 6 yrs since the indisputable pictorial evidence hit the web. But arrest Duke cuz he may either believe in holocaust or not. Is this real? Could such screaming insanity even be true?

F R A N C E France - 16Apr, nuke plant workers on strike. 3500MW nuke output cut. 5 of 19 nuke plant affected. Now, nothing against the strikes but screwing around with nuke plant output is very dangerous and if France isn't capable of maintaining guaranteed stability, the country should not wield nuke power for the sake of human kind.
- Workers in Clairoix lose patience and smash auto part factory, 21Apr.
- Governance threatens students with repeating this year since they've clocked 3 months of demonstrations, protests, and blockades in the country's biggest university revolt ever. Sideline: The purely reactive response of the west governances underscores that west no longer has a plan. It's just putting out fires now. It only reacts to panic today without a clue what they've got themselves into.
- 2 bosses nabbed at Molex and released to negotiate.

G E O R G I A Georgia - Russia troops close in on Tbilisi, the capital. They're 25km away now.
- Demonstrations, erupted on 9Apr demanding Saakashvili's resignation, continue with tens of thousands hollering they've seen enough of the west paradise.

It's hard to believe but Saakashvili actually eats his tie in this UK vid. It takes this kind of mental togetherness to work for west these days.

G E R M A N Y Germany - Admits "recession" since GDP's falling and both export and import are dying. Claims deflation since prices of crap no one wants are falling but happily pumps zillions into its dying econ. Obviously contradiction of terms is no longer an issue in west.
- Urging "new" bank revamp. Their plan thus far was this: put all toxic assets into some bank and sink it while hoarding all the other assets into an elite bank while having people pay for it all either with their cash or in terms of debt. But the plan isn't good enough. They now admit that just swapping bank debt for people's cash isn't gonna do the trick. And they're correct because there is no way to resuscitate the dollar.
- Opel/GM divorce underway. This is a perfect example of the west war junta consolidation of assets at work. GM gets free cash from USA baboons, dumps toxic assets or Opel and USA prolapsed plants. Then they'll try to convert what's left of it to keep value before west goes. And indeed, GM is shutting down in USA and is running to China, even though USA gave the firm over 40B USD just in the last 6 months.
- Ratcheting up punishments for tax cheating. Nice trend, isn't it? West is legalising drugs, abandoning prosecution of misdemeanors and thefts, but it's increasing prosecution of any and all cash lifting from the bankers. Money is the highest of all laws in west. Everything else, including children, is totally irrelevant to the west creature.
- Shriveled by 3,3%/Q1. Hardly "auf wiedersehen" applies here. It's more like "adios, gringos". Sideline: #s are irrelevant. West psychotic policies, omissions, spin, and admitted lies have rendered all numeric data of west irrelevant. What's important is the trend -- the irreversible, unstoppable, and gloriously exponential west prolapse -- they highlight.
- Pumps 1B EUR more into banks. Make no mistake. This isn't deflation. This is theft at the expense of generations to come -- if any will follow, that is.
- USA very angry with Germany for not growing and eating USA genetically perverted crop.

G R E E C E Greece - 21Apr, state cops attack PASOK (socialist party) headquarters in Athens. Violence ensued and cops broke limbs of two. Could this be the UK crowd containment unit at work?
- Tourism over 20% down.

I C E L A N D Iceland - Prolapsed. Currency 50% down. Tourism booming.

I S R A E L Israel - Killing Palestinians by water shortage in Gaza. 150000 have no access to tap water in Gaza.
- Demolishes 90 homes in east Jerusalem in expanding Palestinian land theft. But west didn't wanna debate this in Durban so they rather walked.

J A P A N Japan - Steel production 50% down.
- Says hello to trade deficit as exports down 50% in March. This is very grave for a country that lives solely off its manufacturing export.

K A Z A K H S T A N Kazakhstan - Tells NATO to sod off and won't be partaking in the war games.

M E X I C O Mexico - Panic shutdown of public places as 60 confirmed to die of some new swine-flu/bird-flu strain. Sideline: This is 90% yet another USA attack on the world. This after USA offers "help" in Mexico drug war and after design diseases go missing from USA death labs (see NBN16Feb09:USA) For those who don't believe that something like this could be possible, read how USA armed their terrorists with pig virus during their failed attempt to invade Cuba here:maebrussels.com link.
- Cases found in USA.

M O L D O V A Moldova - Election recount upheld so they'll be no west colour party today.

R U S S I A Russia - Moving into Kyrgyzstan, now that USA's been booted out.
- Makes 5B EUR deal with Airbus. Sideline: The deal has to do with metal resource supply and it stretches out to 2020. Notice here the length and the cost of the deal. That's 5B EUR for over a decade worth of work. Now, compare this to any west "bailout". Those happen quarterly, deal with 10X costs at minimum, and return NOTHING. GM got 5B USD just to turn out the lights and banks have zero product.

S P A I N Spain - IMF tells Spain to protect banks by curbing public spending. Now how can a foreign company dictate country's fiscal policies? Spain is another WashCon victim, isn't it?

S R I L A N K A Sri Lanka - 100K flee while tens of thousands are still trapped while Sri Lanka's assault on north continues.

S W E D E N Sweden - It turns out that judge that sentenced two kids to 1 yr in dungeons for a web site not unlike google's youtube is a member of some copyright org. West loves a fair trial.

T A I W A N Taiwan - Getting econ aid from mainland China.

U K UK - 120K jobs zapped in March.
- Claims lowest inflation levels since prices climb at a slow pace yet forgets to factor in BoE money printers spewing new 200B GBP.
- Dispenses with bank debt. How? Where did bank debt go? It was "added" to public sector. Sideline: Deflation while BoE prints 200B? Bailout while debt is added? That's not deflation, that's extreme hyperinflation. And that's not a bailout; it's just governance swapping cash for debt with all UK subjects for generations to come.
- London launches "housing boost" pumping 1B GBP into abandoned construction. Now, that isn't a housing boost but big elite construction firm boost.
- Apologises for a) torture and b) lying about it. So west tortures and lying as standard procedure are now OFFICIAL!
- Kids asked to snitch. Yes, betray-friends-and-family, fabulous-prizes-to-be-won programme, is on.
- "Bailout" is now equal to GDP! Again, everything UK earns now goes to the war bankers pockets. And let's be clear, banks produce NOTHING. This is bye bye to the drizzly island.
- This also means that UK operates in the red, at the expense of future generations debt -- like USA, like the rest of the prolapsed west serial child killers. Currently its deficit is at a whopping 12% of GDP. This is no longer just death pangs. This is scooping out the brains before mummification.
- London begs for more loans. This comes only weeks after they borrowed some 170B GBP in the last "SOS" bond issue. Now they issue 220B GBP in bonds, which means they're looking to borrow 220B from anyone. Who pays the monthlies? UK subjects. How? With deficit and future. Far more sensible would be learning up Mandarin and crawling to China for help like GM, Airbus, Taiwan, and others.
- Tax 50% increase on 200K GBP/yr wages. Now, this is brain scooping in reality! Watch UK upper middle class desert the island like the hived billions are vanishing from Swiss banks.
- T Blair calls for "war on militant Islam". Now, that's inciting violence, isn't it? And it's very different from Obama who, when begging in Turkey, said "USA is NOT at war with Islam". Who's the boss? Who forgot the script? Is there a script or is it improv henceforth?

U K R A I N E Ukraine - Sinks 3B USD deeper in IMF mire. Ukraine is now fully west bank owned.

U N UN - UN Racism Conference boycotted by west because it discussed racism. Pouting west nations touchingly walked out together while Ahmadinejad touched on some of the west evil. Ahmadinejad's full speech (9 pgs) in pdf here (BTW, If anyone sees D Ortega's full speech from Trinidad during the Summit of Americas, please post the link (split the link up into lines since google doesn't wrap them))

U S A USA - Obama flip flops once again and gives 5B USD and 500M to Chrysler, apparently just for closing shop. GM sales 50% down and though they got 5B can't pay 1B by June. Odd accounting? Yes, as absurd as everything west.
- Over 120K homes repo'd in last 6 months. That means USA's homeless production rate must be at some 500K/yr.
- Microsoft revenue down 6%, sales down over 30%/Q3. Surely, they'll spin this as overproduction of bits.
- Fred Mac, CFO of long since prolapsed USA nonsense suicided in his basement. His firm got 45B USD for free and still is going belly up taking down 13M dwellings with it. Sideline: Note here that some stupid bank got 50B GBP free, just to stay open, to produce nothing. Looks like Fred Mac or someone who might have assisted understood how off-scale and incurable the west rot is.
- Buries 26th dead bank this year.
- Broke California conducting a test on abandoning prosecution of burglaries, shoplifting, vandalism, traffic violations, assaults, meth narcotics, and other such areas starting May4. Whether they'll do this and spread it through USA remains to be seen but this is, as they say, it! This is state sponsored mayhem getting unleashed.
- USA says it won't bend on Iran n-power or on unpredictable N Korea. Some delusion of grandeur. Iran has n-power and N Korea answers to no one. USA, despite its boisterous talk, is bent more than the treble clef. And let's not forget not only USA's acceptance but begging for truce with Taliban.
- Despite the funny vid begging Iran for a new start, Obama's back to the usual USA violent threats of "crippling sanctions". Jekyll Hyde act, printing money, surging troops....none of it will do now. The game's over for west.
- FEMA's heard asking USA counties to identify suitable places for mass graves, where to land big choppers, and those kinds of things. The game's over for west.

V E N E Z U E L A Venezuela - Acquired surface-to-air missiles from Russia.
- Before west media mindrapists have a screaming orgasms over the tale of H Chavez's "giving" an island to USA, let it be known that the island is leased by Venezuela and won't be transferred till 2020 when the lease is up. There's a good chance the island will be Venezuelan in 2020, as well, as other parts of USA currently serviced by Citgo.

...to be cont'd as it all piles up

Link as requested under UN above. Not the entire Ortega speech, but much of it, along with Fidel'c comments.

Super link and comments from an old master. For a long time Fidel Castro was the only person around opposing the west. Now, so many years later, his disciples have taken over. Within a week, rare, rare occurrence, both Ortega and Ahmadinejad spoke truth to the west. As Duke tried to do to the Czech before getting arrested. So this edition of NBN portrays three essential aspects of liberation: truth, challenge, defiance.

poiuytr, excellent bit of writing on the Beijing Consensus (BeiCon). No one should forget either that China has been raising gold reserves, while talking up IMF SDR possibilities. Pretty tricky manoeuvring that.

Anonymous said...

China kills two birds with one stone, transferring scrap-metal dollar funds to the Bei-Con 6, encouraging IMF SRR at the same time as it buys up IMF gold to replenish its own coffers.

The Destabilization of Pakistan: Finding Clarity in the Baluchistan Conundrum
A new dirty game of geopolitics has already started in Baluchistan, Pakistan. To understand the recent wave of violence in Baluchistan we must understand the vested interests in Baluchistan. The root cause of violence in Baluchistan is not internal poverty or lack of development but the covert operations of foreign intelligence agencies. Internal issues might act as catalysts to inflame the situation but the root cause is foreign interference in internal affairs of Baluchistan.
Anyone feel a draft?!?!?
Because the massive military escalation by the US in this region cannot succeed without it. (WRH)

RE: T. Blair
Actually Blair and Obama hold exactly the same discourse. And when Obama invited Blair for his first national prayer breakfast he said of him he was an example to follow, etc... Islam has to be fought, says Blair, the same way revolutionary communism was by earlier generations. Marvellous.

Something Wicked This Way Comes - 25.4.09
'On March 20, 2009, this researcher outlined a peculiar "PANDEMIC VACCINE TRAINING" exercise in Texas scheduled to occur on Saturday, May 2, 2009. I thought it very strange that a rather obscure Texas county would see fit to conduct such a "training exercise" involving Texas National Guard Troops involving "drive-thru vaccination clinics".
I also thought it exceedingly strange that these rather obscure county officials would make the public declarations that emergency "pandemic vaccination programs would mean a line of cars 41 miles long" in Guadalupe County, but that San Antonio's drive-thru vaccine's line would stretch from "San Antonio to Calgary, Alberta Canada" -- strange, because this just happens to be the planned route of the AMERO FREEWAY -- connecting the late-great U.S.A. with Mexico and Canada. Could this, too, be a coded message to insiders?'

Pakistan attaches great importance to ties with Russia: FO

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday dismissed reports about Russia's involvement in Balochistan as misleading saying the country attaches great importance to its ties with the Federation.
A clarification from the Foreign Office said that during a briefing to the Senate by Advisor to Prime Minister on Interior "reference to the Soviet Union was made in a historical context."
"The media coverage on the subject was misleading," a statement quoting the Foreign Office spokesman said and added that it has also been conveyed to the Russian Federation through diplomatic channels.
The Foreign Office Spokesman said Pakistan attaches great importance to its relations with the Russian Federation which was playing an important role for peace, security and stability at the international and regional planes.
The Spokesman said Pakistan and Russia were in the process of strengthening their multifaceted cooperation and in this context referred to Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi's recent visit to Moscow to participate in a Special Conference under the SCO.
The two countries are engaged building a comprehensive partnership. These relations will continue to grow in the times to come, the spokesman said.

Russia offers to launch North Korea satellites
25.4.09
Russian FM says Pyongyang not ready for nuclear talks
Will put US journalists on trial
SEOUL: North Korea will stay away from international nuclear disarmament talks, Russia’s foreign minister said on Friday after visiting the secretive state and pressing Pyongyang to return to the sputtering discussions.
North Korea, which raised regional tensions with a defiant rocket launch earlier this month widely seen as a disguised test of a long-range missile, can send satellites into orbit on Russian rockets, Sergei Lavrov said after leaving North Korea. North Korea responded to UN punishment for the launch by saying it would boycott the nuclear talks with China, Japan, Russia, South Korea and the United States as well as restart its plant that makes arms-grade plutonium that was being taken apart under the deal.
Talks: “North Korea at this point does not intend to return to the six-party talks,” Lavrov told reporters in Seoul through a translator. Lavrov, the first high-level envoy from a global power to visit the reclusive North since after the launch, and South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan agreed to work together to have North Korea return to the nuclear talks, Yu said at the joint news conference. Russia is willing to send the North’s satellites into space in line with a similar cooperation deal it has with the South, Lavrov was quoted as saying by Russia’s Interfax news agency. Experts are uncertain if the impoverished North can actually produce a working satellite, let alone place it into orbit. Lavrov, who delivered a message from the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev to the North’s leader Kim Jong-il, told reporters his country stood by the UN move to chastise Pyongyang and tighten existing sanctions that limit the North’s arms trade and imports.
Lavrov did not meet Kim, 67, who was suspected of having a stroke in August and did not make an appearance at major public events for months after that until he appeared at the annual meeting of parliament about two weeks ago walking with a limp.
Journalists: While Lavrov was in Pyongyang, North Korea raised tension in a simmering dispute with the United States by saying it will put two US journalists arrested last month on its border with China on trial to face criminal charges. “A competent organ of the DPRK (North Korea) concluded the investigation into the journalists of the United States. The organ formally decided to refer them to a trial on the basis of the confirmed crimes committed by them,” KCNA said in a separate dispatch. The pair, Euna Lee and Laura Ling of US media outlet Current TV, were arrested in March along the border between North Korea and China. North Korea has accused them of illegally entering its territory with “hostile” intent. The US State Department had no immediate comment.
US President Barack Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso in a telephone talk Friday discussed North Korea’s missile and nuclear weapons threat, officials in Tokyo said. Obama in the 15-minute conversation also agreed to visit Tokyo in the second half of the year, a plan welcomed by Aso, the Japanese foreign ministry said in a statement. “President Obama told (Aso) that he highly praised the close cooperation between the United States and Japan over the missile launch by North Korea, and that he would like to continue the close cooperation,” the statement said. “Prime Minister Aso replied that it was good for the United Nations Security Council to jointly send a strong statement without delay” against North Korea’s recent rocket launch, the statement said. agencies

The balkanisation of Pakistan as required by the Great Game and other such pipedreams is in the process of being checkmated. As soon as Pak leadership joins the army in battling the forces of disruption the "rebellion" will come to an end. The problem as always is removing traitors from the top echelons.

FAILURE OF FOUR MORE US NAMKS (26.4.09)
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Regulators on Friday shut down four more banks, boosting the number of failures this year to 29 -- more bank closures than in all of last year. The latest banks seized were American Southern Bank in Georgia, Michigan Heritage Bank, First Bank of Idaho, and First Bank of Beverly Hills in California.

Talking about banks, Germany has set up what they call a "bad bank" to gather in all the toxic assets around and their good banks are not doing so well either. German media for their part assure the public the Germans have never been so happy in their whole lives, consumerism has gone up drawing this period and there's not a hope in hell the public will ever hit the streets. Mad as toast all of them.

Mexico Takes Powers to Isolate Cases of Swine Flu (IHT) - 26.4.09
By MARC LACEY and ELISABETH MALKIN
MEXICO CITY — President Felipe Calderón published an order on Saturday that would give his government emergency powers to isolate patients, inspect homes and cancel public events.
Therenwe go, the biggest diversion of all. Health authorities on the alert around the world: US, Canada, GB, NZ, Japan and all the rest of 'em rushing to join the emergency queue. WRH's M. Romero even wonders if ethnically sensitive pathogens are in play since only Mexicans have died so far. He points out Israel has been experimenting with such stuff for some time now. Reality, fear-mongering, sci fi? In any case, health scares justify any arbitrary acts on the part of govts.

RE: FLU. You can bet that this is the type of scare tactic that they will use to put Americans in FEMA camps for “treatment” which is actually designed to KILL YOU! After all, we know that they engineered this disease for that purpose! Have you ever wondered why centers for disease control HAS CANISTERS OF LIVE DISEASES?? TO USE THEM ON US!

Man-made diseases: We had AIDs and Ebola, then Mad Cow and SARS and now we get Swine Pest. We know the drill or at least we think we do. And we see the pattern: population cull with lots of moans about global warming and earth sustainability coupled with the pretext to launch the fascist cull as pointed out by J.P. Butterworth above. Is there never ever any way out for us poor, simple sheeple?

Gold - The Yuan Goes Global – Consequences!
By: Julian D. W. Phillips, Gold/Silver Forecaster - Global Watch - 26.4.09
For years now we have been warning of the decline of the $ as the globe’s reserve currency. The threat is not so much that the monetary policies of the U.S. are cheapening the worth of the $, but that these are pressing so many other nations to search for ways to avoid the US $ in international dealings. China has now taken a momentous, structurally adjusting step to change matters in their favor.
The bulk of international trade transactions have nothing to do with the U.S. except through the use of the $ to denominate their trade. Approximately 75% of global trade is denominated in the U.S. $ in this way. But the volatility of the U.S. $ has distorted and damaged, this aspect of global trade. Thus has been created an ideal environment for gold to rise as its importance in the changing global monetary system grows again.
Having been cornered by the sheer percentage of U.S. $s in their foreign exchange reserves [every nation has this problem] the Chinese are, at last, moving to make their own currency a reserve currency.
The credit crunch and policies taken to rectify it, have triggered these actions by the Chinese. Despite the fact that the € is an up and coming global reserve currency that has not threatened the almost imperial dominance of the $, the arrival of the Yuan as a global currency will reduce the role of the U.S. $ in global trade significantly. We believe that the recent moves to introduce the Yuan across the globe will shrink the use of the $ in global trade. With the U.S.in decline, will come a fragmentation of world monetary power. In such a climate, gold will be attractive again, as a long-term investment, as a protection against the uncertainties and strains this will cause. It will also become a more vital hedge against local currency volatility. As the Yuan appreciates against the U.S.$ and other currencies as a consequence of these changes even the Chinese will find gold more attractive as part of the ‘basket’ in which they hold foreign currencies in their reserves and personal portfolios. Will this bring about the ban on Chinese exports of gold and sale of any such exports to the central bank? It is more than probable at some point in time!
So where will all these dollars go? They will have to go home to where they will add to the massive recent issues of dollars and will precipitate inflation dramatically, once the process is really underway. Bear in mind that it is not only the Chinese who will lower the use of the $, all nations with an overexposure to the $ in their reserves will leap at the chance to reduce this percentage and introduce the Yuan to these reserves as a replacement to the $. It is a major structural move that is part of the process of $ de-colonization. It is likely that even central banks will appreciate gold in their reserves again. This will result in a cessation of “Official” gold sales and the accumulation of gold in central bank reserves in an increasing number of countries.
Actions taken already to make the Yuan global
1. China has agreed a 70 billion Renminbi [Yuan] currency swap with Argentina that will allow it to receive Renminbi instead of U.S. dollars for its exports to the Latin American country.
2. Beijing has signed 650 billion Renminbi ($95 billion, €72 billion) worth of deals since December with Malaysia, South Korea, Hong Kong, Belarus, Indonesia. This, and nowArgentina, in an attempt to unblock trade financing that has been severely curtailed by the crisis.

3. Now, the Chinese government has permitted five major trading cities to use the Yuan in overseas trade settlement. This is a very important step towards the establishment of the Yuan as a global and reserve currency.
Shanghai, Guangzhou [The old Canton], Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Zhuhai, are the cities that have been designated for the purpose. Concentrated in the South the Pearl River Delta cities are the spearhead of Chinese exports and already developed to the extent that even the most high tech of products is rapidly approaching international standards.
Why?
The Chinese government has watched with deep concern the prospect of it export surpluses [held in the U.S. $] move to the point where their buying power will drop heavily. On the horizon sits the prospect of the U.S. $ being used in as one of four or five global reserve currencies and not as the dominant one! Understandably then, the Chinese government is taking steps now to reduce the risk from exchange rate volatility and the prospect of the U.S.$’s buying power falling. With China’s growth to a global economic driver, these moves had to come in time and that time is now.
Rising Yuan? Consistent with these moves will, eventually, come the ‘floating’ of the Yuan, so that a break in the current managed float of the Yuan tied to the U.S. $ will allow a separation of the Yuan from the $. This will only happen when the Chinese are convinced that the move will not damage the international competitiveness of China. The hoped-for stability that this brings with it will allow Chinese international trade to improve and will cause an appreciation in the international value of the Yuan. The central bank of China is likely to use this appreciation as an opportunity to diversify away from the U.S. $, export the Yuan and bring in currencies that accurately reflect the spread of international trade the Chinese have at present. This would reflect the decades-long Japanese policies of exporting goods when the Yen is cheap and exporting capital when the Yen becomes expensive.
The Impact on Gold - While market attention has been riveted on the price of gold a more important feature of the gold market has caused gold to evolve as money, in increasingly difficult times. The concerns of the Chinese are the concerns of all investors particularly U.S. investors the main buyers of gold shares in the gold Exchange Traded Funds. Consequently, this has broadened the base and improved the quality of gold investors worldwide. While the jewelry trade has retreated from gold and scrap sales have supported the supply of gold, the time is coming when supplies will just not be enough to satisfy investors and scrap sales peter out. The only way such investors will be deterred from buying then is a gold price rising out of their buying zones. This will certainly mean an over four-figure gold price.
The fears of investors are outside the gold market and concern exchange rates, massive tsunamis of dollars and other currencies being printed to shore up the present system in the grips of a credit crunch. Many investors are certain inflation is roaring towards us, to spring up, as deflation is overcome. The future of the monetary system is bleak and extreme.
Locally, gold is priced in home currencies and serves as a hedge against the dramatic moves of those currencies. Rapidly, investors are seeing that their price of gold doesn’t reflect only the value of gold, but the value of their local currencies as well. Awareness of gold as a protection against weakening currencies is growing rapidly. This awareness is growing in central banks, sovereign wealth funds, institutions, amongst wealthy individuals and is now spreading to the man in the street. Once sound money backed by assets was forsaken in favor of man managed and created money, the disintegration of the banking system, the credit system and confidence in currencies and economies was inevitable. Only the credibility of and confidence in paper money made it work anyway. That now stands badly mauled with potentially worse to come. But most observers are not buying gold yet! Once they do, sit back and wonder!

As Greenspan wrote decades ago, “Without a gold standard in place, there is little to prevent governments indulging in wild credit creation. Deficit spending is simply a scheme for the confiscation of wealth. Gold stands in the way of this insidious process.” We do not believe there will be a Gold Standard because it is anathema to all bankers, central bankers included. What is likely to happen is that a formula will be worked out where gold can be used to increase the credibility of and confidence in paper money again. Before that discussion comes to reality, individuals and institutions are and will turn to gold. When governments contemplate gold’s use in money again, you can be sure they will want the metal to themselves and exclude Joe public!

Our military humiliation in Afghanistan is a scandal - and the cover-up is an even greater one. The under-funded British Army is being forced to make the same mistakes in Afghanistan that it made in Iraq, says Christopher Booker - 25.4.09
One of the best kept secrets of our recent politics, thanks to the news management of the Ministry of Defence, was how our occupation of southern Iraq turned into one of the greatest humiliations in the history of the British Army. In the end, after our hopelessly ill-equipped and undermanned contingent had been forced to abandon to the insurgents the two main cities of the region, Basra and Al Amarah, the Americans and Iraqis had to intervene to take them back. Last Christmas, having failed in our mission, we were contemptuously ordered to leave his country by the Iraqi prime minister Nouri al-Maliki.
Now, it seems, the MoD is managing to hide the fact that something remarkably similar is happening in Afghanistan. In March 2006, our forces were deployed to take responsibility for the southern province of Helmand. Again and again they have taken some town from the Taliban and then been forced to abandon it, and American troops have had to be called in to retake it, with or without British assistance.
US to join UK troops in southern Afghanistan as British hit stalemate with Taliban in Helmand
Britain 'cannot afford to send more troops to Afghanistan' because of the recession
Operation Snakebite by Stephen Grey: ReviewIn December 2007, the US provided the bulk of the troops and assets needed to retake Musa Qala. In April 2008, the US Marines retook Garmsir. This month the Marines retook Nowzad and, although no formal announcement has been made, it seems that the US forces under General David Petraeus, architect of the famous Iraq "surge", have taken over responsibility for much of Helmand.
What makes this even more disturbing, however, as my colleague Richard North continually points out on his Defence of the Realm blog , is the extent to which the MoD is again managing to conceal all this from us. Look up "Helmand" on Google News and you will see plenty of personal references to our brave boys, to those coming home dead or to human interest stories put out by the MoD, such as a soldier saved from death by his helmet.
But for any proper account of what is going on, strategically and tactically, one looks in vain. As Dr North observes, "the way this is being hushed up has become a national scandal".
West congenitally incapable of telling the truth. So while they seem to be doing so in above, they are at the same time praising the skills of US army, which is yet another myth waiting to be exploded.

"Sideline"
"Sideline: The standard procedure for enslaving the world, known as "Washington Consesus", has now been replaced by "Beijing Consensus". (Note that USA is in wars with the top BeiCon nations)"

"Sideline" .. to you and a handful of others only. Funny how dumb smart people are sometimes .. when they assume that everyone knows what they know. In other words, this info/analysis is out of the reach/ability of most common folk and hardly sideline stuff. Thank you.

Eu in Crisis - Money and Markets (25.4.09)
Europe Is Up to Its Eyeballs in Problems
Of the $4.1 trillion in potential global write-downs, Europe (excluding the UK) is expected to suffer the largest share. The IMF projects Europe to get wacked with $1.1 trillion (or 39 percent of the total) of new losses. The U.S. is thought to be on the hook for another $1.05 trillion (37 percent).
As I pointed out in my March 7 Money and Markets column, Western European banks have dangerously high credit exposure to their neighboring emerging market economies.
Then there was more bad news out of Europe this week: Deflation. And it’s widespread …
Spain, the fifth largest economy in the European Union, reported a fall in consumer prices for the first time in 50 years.
The UK reported the first annual fall in retail prices since 1960.
Ireland experienced its first drop in consumer prices since joining the euro in 1999.
Germany’s wholesale prices dropped the most in 22 years.
And Switzerland is so concerned about deflation that its central bank has intervened in the currency markets to weaken its own currency and has begun buying up its own debt to increase the supply of Swiss francs.
But deflation is not a problem confined to Europe. Deflation is a global problem …
Broad commodity prices are down 54 percent since July of last year. U.S. consumer prices declined year over year for the first time since 1955. The Baltic Dry Index (the cost of shipping raw materials around the world) has lost a colossal 84 percent of its value in less than a year. And producer prices, wholesale prices … all have trended lower and have now hit sub-zero levels in most major countries.

Another gloom and doom day. No brightness on the horizon.
- IMF and its partner in crime the World Bank huddled together over the weekend. The result? IMF intensified its cash call. Russia, China, Brazil expressed reservations because nothing is being done to give them a stronger say in running the beastly institutions. Why they don't simply scrap them and walk out is anyone^s guess.
- Big news today: Swine Flu. US declares health emergency. Everyone else follows suit. Martial law in the air. Then remember s.o. called Eric R. Piankas' recent "We're no better than bacteria" rant in which he advocated the extermination of 90% of humankind through an airborne Ebola virus? Highly fashionable population cull is in the air. Those 500.000 plastic coffins and equal number of burial vaults dug in a field in Georgia will soon be used up if this continues.
- At least Correa got to win re-election. How come the USans didn't interfere?
- The rest of it is all war stories you never want to hear again.

RE: Our military humiliation in Afghanistan is a scandal (26.4.09 - 15:07)
Nah, there are better candidates. Article says "occupation of southern Iraq turned into one of the greatest humiliations in the history of the British Army". I beg to differ. Greater humiliations for the Brits are Dunkirk, Gallipoli, the Korean War (a mere tie facing hungry, badly armed Chinese and North Koreans), Afghanistan (circa 1850), India (Gandhi kicked them out fairly and squarely). The Germans sent them packing in WWII.
The ziobrits know as much about fighting a war as their zioamerican counterparts.

‘Stop the Taliban now – or we will’
The US got tough with Pakistan as terrorists moved to within 60 miles of the capital
Pakistani Taliban fighters sit in the back of a truck with their weapons in Buner
Christina Lamb in Washington and Daud Khattak in Buner
AMERICA made clear last week that it would attack Taliban forces in their Swat valley stronghold unless the Pakistan government stopped the militants’ advance towards Islamabad.
A senior Pakistani official said the Obama administration intervened after Taliban forces expanded from Swat into the adjacent district of Buner, 60 miles from the capital.
The Pakistani Taliban’s inroads raised international concern, particularly in Washington, where officials feared that the nuclear-armed country, which is pivotal to the US war against the Taliban in Afghanistan and against Al-Qaeda, was rapidly succumbing to Islamist extremists.
“The implicit threat - if you don’t do it, we may have to - was always there,” said the Pakistani official. He said that under American pressure, Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) agency told the Taliban to withdraw from Buner on Friday.
However, reports yesterday indicated that the Taliban withdrawal was less than total. As a result, hundreds of thousands of people in the district were still at the mercy of armed militants and their restrictive interpretation of Islamic law.
American military and intelligence forces already run limited ground and air operations on Pakistani soil along the border with Afghanistan. But an overt military operation such as that threatened in Swat, away from the border, would mark a major escalation.
The official said last week’s outspoken remarks by Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state, were “calculated to ramp up the pressure on Pakistan” to take action. Clinton warned that the terrorists’ advance had created a “mortal threat” to world security.
Mainstream garbage as usual.

Iran discovers new oil, gas fields - 27.4.09
Iran has discovered a new oil layer and a gas field in locations in the center and southwest of the country, says the Iranian Oil Minister.
The new oil layer forms part of the Band-e-Karkheh oil field northwest of Ahvaz, capital of Iran’s oil-rich southwestern province of Khuzestan, said Gholam-Hossein Nozari on Saturday, on the sidelines of the International Oil, Gas and Petrochemistry Exhibition in Tehran.
Nozari said that the oil field’s estimated reserves increased to 4.5 billion barrels with the discovery of the new layer.
A gas field with an estimated reserve of 6 trillion cubic feet was also discovered in the central province of Fars, he added.
The report comes on the back of recent announcements from Tehran of the discovery of eight new oil fields in April alone. No details have yet been given on the exact amounts of their reserves.
Iran, OPEC’s second biggest oil producer, controls about 5 percent of global oil supply and sits on the world’s second-largest gas reserves.
Iran has formed a partnership with India’s state-run oil firm ONGC to produce liquefied natural gas (LNG) in the Farzad gas field in Farsi block, which is estimated to hold recoverable gas reserves of 12.8 trillion cubic feet.
Iran has not yet exported any LNG but says it will be able to produce 77 million tons a year by 2014.

Israeli FM: We won't attack Iran
Israel Today – April 26, 2009
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman at the weekend tried to calm international concerns by insisting that even if diplomatic efforts fail, Israel will not attack Iran's nuclear facilities.
In an interview with an Austrian newspaper, Lieberman said that Israel alone cannot militarily resolve a problem that belongs to the entire world. He suggested that only a nation as powerful as the US can do so, and implicitly urged the Obama administration to get tougher with the Islamic Republic.
Addressing other regional issues in an interview with Israel Radio on Sunday, Lieberman said he is ready for peace talks with Syria, but without preconditions.
Lieberman said that if Israel agrees to Syria's precondition that it commit to leave the Golan Heights, then there is nothing to negotiate about.
He also noted that Syria is not entering the process with the proper attitude, as Damascus has repeatedly threatened to retake the Golan by force if Israel fails to meet its preconditions. That, said Lieberman, is an ultimatum, not a negotiation.

Anonymous said...

News Brief: Israeli FM: We won't attack Iran We repeat: Israel is only saying this after it was forced to abort a planned strike when Russian spy satellites observed preparations being made and informed Iran. And China says it will support Syria in any ongoing negotiations.
All this negotiation shit makes no sense to me. Israel is as capable of attacking Iran as jumping to the moon and Syria will get back the Golan without having to go through all this hypocrisy once more. Media madness, I reckon, to show their public exciting, dangerous things are happening.

Signs of Iran-Venezuela defense ties emerge
Mon, 27 Apr 2009
Venezuelan Minister of Defense Ramon Alonzo Carrizalez Rengifo (R) greeting his Iranian counterpart Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar after his plane landed in Caracas, Apr. 26
Iran's defense minister arrives in the Venezuelan capital in what may mark the beginning of a new era in Tehran-Caracas cooperation.
Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar was welcomed by his Venezuelan counterpart Ramon Alonzo Carrizalez Rengifo in Maiquetia on Sunday.
Although Tehran and Caracas enjoy close ties, this is the first time that an Iranian defense minister has visited the Latin American state since the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
Mohammad-Najjar's stay in Caracas could add joint defense projects to the increasing economic and industrial cooperation between the two states.
The prospects of defense ties between Iran and Venezuela have not been welcomed by Washington, as the US opposes Tehran establishing links in its 'strategic back yard'.
Industrial cooperation between Tehran and Caracas irritated the administration of former US president George W. Bush, who at one point even accused Iran of building a nuclear plant in Venezuela.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez has ridiculed the notion, skewering the former US chief executive on the issue in one of his famous Alo! Mr President television programs.
"The US claims that the factory Iran is building for Venezuela in the state of Cojedes is a nuclear plant and not a bicycle factory; therefore, we will call its first product 'The Atomic Bicycle," Chavez said in June 2008.
"What a bicycle! This Atomic Bicycle... Does it have brakes?" joked Chavez while cycling around on one of the bikes.
During the program, Chavez had a live connection with the factory to show the audience the bicycles built in the factory and then offered to send one of them to Bush.
Since Barack Obama became the president of the United States, Chavez has shown openness to better days with the US.
The two heads of state exchanged a warm handshake after intentionally running into each other at the Summit of the Americas earlier this month. The encounter has been interpreted as the first step toward the restoration of relations.
Ties between the US and Venezuela broke down after Chavez expelled the US ambassador to Caracas over what he termed as meddling in the internal affairs of neighboring Bolivia.
The top Venezuelan official proposed a new envoy to the US at the summit; Obama appeared to welcome the overture. Chavez also gave his American counterpart a book that details the colonial past of the region.

Swine Flu Container Explodes on Swiss Train
It has all the hallmarks of a disaster movie: A container filled with the swine flu virus explodes on a busy train. But that's exactly the scenario that briefly caused the Swiss authorities some alarm on Monday evening. In the midst of global fears of a swine flu pandemic, a container with swine flu exploded on a train carrying over 60 people.
Luckily, however, it was not the mutated swine flu virus that has killed around 150 people in Mexico. The police quickly reassured the public that there was no danger of any infection.
You believe any of this, you're one who'd believe pigs can fly.

Speaking at a conference to reassure the public over hers government's response to the swine flu threat, Indonesian Heath Minister Siti Fadilah Supari said Tuesday that the controversial virus could have been man-made.
She declined to elaborate on her claim but she had previously accused Western governments of making and spreading viruses in the developing world to boost pharmaceutical companies' profits, AFP reported.

Guess where the first swine flu outbreak occurred?
That's right, According to the web database Legitgove.org, Fort Dix, New Jersey, in 1976 and most likely was created in a US Army lab. Thirteen soldiers died, leading the US government to force a questionable vaccine on the population.
Lori Price wrote in his investigative article that every major media outlet has reported the fact that US/UK bio-terrorists have been manipulating the avian flu virus in university and Army labs. This new flu strain contains avian flu.
It is worth mentioning that the pig is considered a dirty and unclean animal that eats its own excreta and unlike other animals that zealously safeguard their mates, it allows other swine to frequently copulate with its mate.
The Holy Qur'an, as well as both the Old and New Testaments forbid eating of pork or pig meat.
Despite this, most people in the (pseudo-?)Christian West and other non-Muslim societies eat pork, and the resulting consequences are widespread diseases, violence and promiscuity.

Nobody Can Hear You Scream
Just before I gave my evidence to Parliament yesterday, my sister Celia telephoned me to say that I would be speaking not for myself but for all those thousands who had suffered unspeakable torture around the World in the War on Terror, whose screams and sometimes death rattles were heard only by their torturers. She told me I was speaking for those who could not speak.
She put me into a calm place, and I tried to give my evidence very coolly and professionally, but I believe I did manage once or twice to break through the twisted legalese in which the committee have mummified themselves, to bring home the human cost of torture to them.
You can see my evidence here:
http://www.parliamentlive.tv/Main/VideoPlayer.aspx?meetingId=3978
If that disappears, Tony has kindly put it onto YouTube which you can find here:
http://tenpercent.wordpress.com/2009/04/28/craig-murrays-evidence-on-youtube/
But I am completely astonished, and horribly depressed, that there has been almost no mainstream media of this quite sensational information. There has been not one word in any newspaper or on TV. The Today programme on Radio 4 ran a story on it at 6.45am, but did not repeat it. A piece went up immediately on the BBC website
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/8023111.stm
but it is very difficult to find it there without the url.
I really cannot understand why no newspaper or TV channel has covered what is quite a startling development in a prominent continuing story on the use of torture in the War on Terror.
I had hoped that my evidence yesterday would be a significant step in ending the policy of obtaining intelligence from torture, and of bringing to account the ministers who approved it. But without any sign of public or media interest, the politicians will feel they can safely ignore the truth I told.
I was trying to speak up for those who have no voice. I feel very strongly that I have let them down.
Only their torturers heard their screams, and hardly anybody else heard my voice either.

Anonymous said...

You have let nobody down, Craig - least of all yourself. The edifice of truth which has been systematically demolished by our shameful government over the past decade at the behest of Bush and his neo-Con thugs can only be rebuilt slowly, brick by brick. Your evidence yesterday was a vital foundation stone in the process. It is now in the open, and most importantly, on the internet. Perseverance and patience must be our watchwords. One cannot undo the brainwashing of years in a few minutes.
Temporary depression is a natural reaction to a stressful event such as yesterday was for you. By the weekend I hope you will be toasting yourself with champagne.

You Are All Going To Die
No, you are going to die, really. I guarantee you that.
I am quite amazed I have lived this long. I survived the real flu epidemic of 1968. I survived the coming of HIV/AIDS. I survived the scares over SARS and avian flu. Now I have to survive swine flu as well. Given the apocalyptic warnings over SARS, avian flu and swine flu, it is quite incredible that not only have I survived them, but all my family have too.
Except, of course, it is all bollocks. Viruses are a fact of life. Death is the most important fact of life. Nobody lives forever. Of course healthcare is important, of course deaths are sad. But the extraordinary over-reaction to a possible flu epidemic, and extreme distortion of the scale of individual threat, appears to indicate a societal belief that death shouldn't happen at all.
The media projects a fear of death and sickness which is positively unhealthy.
Women get colds, men get flu and governments get swine flu. I expect with almost total certainty that I'll survive it. If not, I'll die. So what? I was going to do that anyway.

Another Craig Murray piece on a subject of topical interest.

Craig Murray writes with heart and guts and then comes a point when he turns lily-livered. A great pity, that and something he shares with George Galloway. They come close to the truth and, at the last minute, glance away, their establishment conformism proving too strong to overcome, I expect. Both are 911 deniers, both believe blindly in the Jewish holocaust stories, etc, etc. No one in west politics is capable of telling us the facts on any given matter.

Anonymous said...

From Craig Murray's blog. A comment:

Regarding the controversy between "accepting torture material on a limited basis to prevent an atrocity (such as a ticking bomb in Parliament, as per committee discussion) and accepting it in a systemic way (as per MI6 and CIA)":

This is moot.

You (and others) have made it amply clear that such information, as derived from torture, is of no value because it is mostly false. Its only value being to subjugate a resistant population to regimes of tyranny. But even this has been proven ineffective, as confirmed by the battles of Algiers, Palestine, Afghanistan, or Iraq.

The argument that torture could actually yield actionable intelligence is only made by the thugs who wish to justify torture, and instil a regime of terror in the hearts of ordinary civilians, whether at home or abroad.

Under no circumstances should torture be excused under the rules of a civilized world. Not even for that hypothetical bomb in parliament.

And by the way, someone aught to tell the committee that if there ever was a bomb placed in the British Parliament, you are likely to find the culprits closer to home, rather than in far off Uzbakistan.

Just remind the honourable committee of NATO false flag terrorism in Europe (Gladio), London 7/7, NYC 9/11, and the Bali bombings. All were inside-jobs, involving "Western Intelligence" services. (Documentaries for all these crimes are easily available on the web...)

Well, well, someone telling it like it is. In exactly the terms we would use ourselves if we had to expatiate on the iniquity of torture. I am an ignoramus on the subject so let me ask you: Did Craig Murray get the message?

Off-topic only on the surface. This is the background to all that has preceded. We know the Baathists will win. Does Craig Murray?
Baath Party is optimistic about the liberation of Iraq - 29.04.2009
These are excerpts from an Interview by Phil Sands.
He talks to “Abu Mohammed”, a representative of the political wing of the Iraqi Baath Party.
STABILITY
There has been so much talk of stability and progress in Iraq but it is all at a surface level, but there hasn’t been any fundamental progress; there is a fake stability that results from having hundreds of thousands of soldiers on the streets. In Baghdad there are checkpoints every 100 metres, how is running the country like a giant prison a real stability?
The current security situation in Iraq is dangerous, there is a split between Arabs and Kurds in Mosul; al Qa’eda has returned to parts of Baghdad, and months after the provincial elections, some areas have still been unable to decide on local governments.
FAKE GOVERNMENT
The national parliament can’t make any decisions, and the country is propped up by foreign soldiers. There are millions of Iraqis living as refugees, and the electricity still doesn’t even work. This is all a recipe for chaos.
National reconciliation is impossible. Everything that has happened has proven that the so-called Iraqi government is no such thing, it’s a coalition of militias dependent on the presence of occupation troops. It’s a collection of death squads with sectarian agendas, and it is about the interests of political parties not the interests of the country as a whole.
AWAKENING COUNCILS COLLAPSING
The Sahwa Councils are collapsing. The Americans used them for a while and then gave them to the Iraqi government because they had served their purpose. Now the government has turned against the Sahwa. Many are coming back to us, they’ve said ‘we are sorry’ and that they only joined because they needed the money, it’s understandable.
US ARMY DOESN’T LEAVE
The Americans don’t want to leave Iraq, and as we expected, they are looking for reasons to stay. They will say, ‘we must stay and fight these terrorists’. We believe that al Qa’eda and these attacks are part of the American plan.
FIGHTING UNTIL LIBERATION
We never attack civilians and we have cancelled many attacks because there is a risk to civilians. We do not target the Iraqi police or army but, if they are on a joint patrol with the Americans and the Iraqi army are caught in that, these are things that happen in any war. (…)
Izzat ad Douri is in good health. He is still leading the Iraqi resistance and is optimistic about the liberation of Iraq. He’s is in Iraq, and he is everywhere, from Basra to Mosul.

Kazakhstan, China strike nuclear deal
30 Apr 2009
A model of a nuclear reactor designed by China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group
Kazakhstan and China have signed a major deal that would make Astana a major uranium provider as Beijing strives to build nuclear power plants.
"National atomic energy agency Kazatomprom and CGNPC signed a memorandum regarding the creation of a joint enterprise to build atomic energy stations in China," Kazakh state run agency Kazatomprom said Wednesday.
Kazatomprom and the China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group (CGNPG) signed a deal under which the Chinese company would receive the uranium shipments over the next decade, Interfax news agency reported.
"We intend to jointly develop a deposit in Kazakhstan with total reserves of about 40,000 tons of uranium," Zhou Zhenxing, General Manager of CGNPC said.
Zhenxing said the deal would see uranium sales from 2008 to 2020 for a total volume of 24.2 thousand tons.
Kazatomprom made progress in building and operating nuclear power plants at home in recent years and established a joint venture firm with Russia's AtomStroyExport for that purpose.
Astana holds a fifth of the world's uranium reserves. In a move to bring the country out of economic crisis, Kazakhstan which is heavily dependent on oil now seeks new opportunities in the nuclear field.
Earlier Kazakhstan said that it has begun mining uranium at a new field in the south of the country with an annual production capacity of 750 metric tons. Under the deal, the uranium extracted from the field will be used to meet the requirements of China's nuclear industry.

Hello informatron, Anonymous 20:08, good question: Has anyone seen poiuytr? Apparently not. I'm just an anxious as the two of you about his whereabouts and his state of health. One thing we can be sure of. Whatever's wrong with him, it can't be swineflu pork fever. He had disappeared before that came on the scene. He talked to us about his cough in this blog a few weeks ago. You mention a "wee sneeze", informatron. Put two and two together, he may have been hospitalised. Now we can but hope that patience, perseverance and prayer, separately or combined, will do the trick and we'll soon have him back, alive and kicking and raring to go. Till then be of good cheer and don't give up hoping.

Swine flu pandemic? It feels like a phoney war
Dr John Crippen is the pseudonym of an NHS doctor who writes a popular medical blog. This is his account of the view from the GP's surgery
Dr John Crippen The Guardian, Friday 1 May 09 Oh! God, now I know it is serious. The Health Protection Agency has sent me an algorithm to tell me how to deal with swine flu. It arrived today in an email with one of those red exclamation marks at the side. An algorithm, for those who don't know, is a "finite sequence of instructions, an explicit, step-by-step procedure for solving a problem". It is very complicated. I do not understand it. Fortunately the primary care trust has also sent me a red exclamation mark email with instructions I can understand: "The main message remains: always use a tissue to catch coughs and sneezes, throw away used tissues and regularly wash your hands."
I can relate to that. Trouble is, it makes me giggle. I can't get that old jingle, from somewhere in early childhood, out of my mind. "Coughs and sneezes spread diseases, trap your germs in your handkerchief." It has rhythm. It is best recited in a "Mail train" monotone. Lovers of Tony Hancock will want to sing it to the tune of Deutschland, Deutschland über alles.
Doctor, you're not taking this seriously. Actually, I am. We have all read our way through the mountains of circulars that have arrived. We are having a daily practice meeting. We have one partner designated to take all the "flu"-related calls so our advice is consistent. Yesterday we had two such calls: a patient just returned from Turkey who had diarrhoea and wondered if it could be flu, and an elderly lady wanting advice about her husband who has respiratory problems. Should he be started on Tamiflu? Simple answer: No.
Today, so far, there have been no calls at all. We have 15,000 patients and are close to one of the larger airports in England, but have not seen a case of flu. We have not had a single patient worrying that he or she might have flu. It feels like a phoney war. We have seen two patients with heart attacks, three acute asthmatic attacks, and a child who had swallowed an implausibly large piece of Lego. Such is general practice.
We met at lunchtime, not to talk of heart attacks and Lego, but of flu. There have been deaths in Mexico. There has been one in the US. Our Indian partner said: "There were 2,000 deaths, mainly children in Africa and Asia, yesterday."
Our medical student looked shocked: "I didn't know swine flu had reached that part of the world." "It hasn't," said our partner. "I'm talking of deaths from malaria. But that isn't news, is it?"
We were silent for a while. Time to get things in proportion.

Labour Day, the most beautiful of days, a shit of a day this year with sheeple lingering in their beds, sleep being the thing they do best along with bleating.
Look at the economic news: all's bright and fair, the stockmarket back to bull conditions, the US Fed buying up its own debt since China has turned wary, gold prices faltering because some unknown party is selling off large quantities. Make what you can of that.
Int politics: Russia is hopping mad over Georgia-US military exercices and NATO expulsion of one (or was that two?) of their diplomats. Pakistan being branded as a failed state. Daily the alienation grows. The Jews flexing their muscles in all walks of life. Someone in Holland made a pointed comment on the royalty. Our poiuytr still not available. I'll join the workers. Remain in bed all day.

Look, I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not willing to give up on poiuytr and this blog until poiuytr himself comes out and says: that's it, that's all. This being so, here's an update for this second day of May, the month of the Taurean and the peace of the Buddha.
- Only Al-Jazeera gave us any kind of account of May Day demos throughout the world. Disappointing they were, but nonetheless interesting if read between the lines. For instance, there were more arrests following the worker marchers in Zürich than there were in Turkey. Think what this means for coming days.
- Garbled facts, doctored figures, the Swine Flu is thriving, but suddenly the hysteria is being removed from the stories. WHO is not going on to level 6 of worldwide alert, the "pandemic" might turn out to be mild, we are told, US not screening passengers returning from Mexico. A storm in a teacup?
- Victimised Pakistan: Change of tone audible here too. Pak Prez Zardari is out of the country, USans approaching rival Nawaz Sharif with tempting offers, news of impending break-up of Pak premature.
That's it, that's all. The rest of it the usual filth for us consumer pigs and sheeple.

The Wrenching Transformation of America
By Tom DeWeese - April 22, 2009
Ladies and gentlemen, I’ve come a long way to get here and I have such a short time to be with you. So, let’s just get everything out on the table right now, shall we?
I believe the American people, and their every action, are being ruled, regulated, restricted, licensed, registered, directed, checked, inspected, measured, numbered, counted, rated, stamped, censured, authorized, admonished, refused, prevented, drilled, indoctrinated, monopolized, extorted, robbed, hoaxed, fined, harassed, disarmed, dishonored, fleeced, exploited, assessed, and taxed to the point of suffocation and desperation.
America is drowning in a sea of rules and regulations, particularly under the guise of “saving the environment.”
We all know something is very wrong and we are trying to fix it.
Many in America attempt to fight against one issue or another as they try to understand what is happening to their country. But most fail to see the whole picture and are being crushed under a well organized “divide and conquer” tactic that keeps them reeling from crisis to crisis

What's true for US is true for us all. No air to breathe. You want a bit of peace and quiet, try the Bora Bora caves in you know where. The last place on earth, along with the Island of Tonga, where we can still call our souls our own.

Economy On The Ropes - By Mike Whitney
May01, 2009 "Information Clearing House" -- The economy continued to shrink in the first quarter of 2009 at an annual pace of 6.1 percent, making it the worst recession in more than 50 years. Gross Domestic Product slipped into negative territory from January to March for back-to-back quarters of negative 6 percent growth. The news of falling GDP was preceded on Tuesday by a dismal housing report which showed that housing prices have continued their historic downward plunge with only modest improvement. Since their peak in July 2006, housing prices have dropped 31 percent, falling 18.6 percent in the last year alone. The rate of decline has decelerated slightly but--on their present trajectory--prices are on target to tumble 45 to 50 percent from their 2006 highs. Another 20 percent loss in home equity means another $4 trillion loss for US homeowners.
The news on the employment-front is equally bleak. In the week ending April 25, initial jobless claims increased by another 631,000, bringing the 4-week moving average to 637,000. Ongoing unemployment claims are now at 6.27 million, an all time record.
Unemployment rates rose in all of the nation's largest metropolitan areas for the third straight month in March... The Labor Department reported Wednesday all 372 metropolitan areas tracked saw jobless rates move higher last month from a year earlier."
Consumer spending also fell more than forecast with purchases decreasing 0.2 percent in March and wages and benefits rising at the slowest pace in three decades.
GDP is falling, unemployment is soaring and business and residential investment are at their nadir. Even so, the stock market has continued its 7 week surge on signs that the market may be bottoming.
Go figure.

Morales nationalises fuel supplier
By: Aljazeera on: 02.05.2009
Morales has used May Day to make previous nationalisation announcements EPA
Bolivia's president has brought the local unit of British aviation fuel supplier Air BP under state control.
Evo Morales announced the decree at a rally to mark international workers' day on Friday, and ordered troops to take control of the company's operations.
"I want to ask the Bolivian armed forces along with YPFB the Bolivian state energy company to gain control of Air BP, the multinational that sells jet fuel. With this decree, Air BP is now nationalised," he said in a speech.
Shortly afterwards, local PAT television broadcast images of unarmed troops at Air BP facilities in the eastern city of Santa Cruz.
Earlier, negotiations on the takeover had been held between YPFB and Air BP, which operates 12 fuel stations at airports across the Andean country.
However, a BP spokesman in London told the Reuters news agency: "We were surprised by today's takeover process. But we will continue to support the handover."
Oscar Coca, Bolivia's energy minister, said that the government planned to compensate BP.
"The presidential decree calls for an assessment that has to be carried out in 120 days to determine the value," he said, adding that the supply of fuel to Bolivian and foreign airlines will not be disrupted.
"The company has been in contact with us and let us know it will proceed with this change ... Air BP's shareholders are acting in a coherent manner."
Since taking office in early 2006, Morales has nationalised energy, mining and telecoms companies previously in the hands of foreign investors.
Many of the previous moves have also been announced on international workers' day, also known as May Day.
The country's first indigenous leader has blamed foreign companies for Bolivia's poverty, saying that they have "ransacked" its energy and mineral riches.
Some profits from nationalised firms have previously been invested in social programmes, including a universal pension system and grants to encourage children to study.

While the above has been happening, US sanctions against Iran have been expanded considerably. Preliminary moves to dialogue, no doubt.

Brussels doubles EU recession forecasts for 2009 - By Sarah Arnott (5.5.09)
The European Commission has revised economic forecasts sharply downwards and pushed recovery predictions out to the second half of 2010 in the face of the "deepest and most widespread recession in the post-war era".
Brussels is now expecting Europe's GDP to contract by 4 per cent this year, twice the 1.8 per cent predicted just three months ago. The slump will also last longer, with a further decline of 0.1 per cent in 2010, compared with earlier forecasts of 0.5 per cent growth.
Of the major EU countries, Germany will fare the worst, with a 5.5 per cent decline in 2009. But the Commission's assessment will also make grim reading for the Chancellor of the Exchequer. The UK economy is expected to lose between 4 and 4.5 per cent in 2009, a far bleaker prediction than the 3.5 per cent forecast in Mr Darling's Budget. Italy is also expected to contract by up to 4.5 per cent, France and Spain by 3 per cent.
There are signs that the precipitous decline in manufacturing output may be slowing. But the effects of rising unemployment and continued downward pressure on inflation are hard to gauge. Joaquin Almunia, the EU Economic and Monetary Affairs Commissioner, said: "In such deep recession territory, risks remain sizeable."
Unemployment is expected to rise by 2.5 per cent this year and another 1.5 per cent next, adding some 8.5 million to Europe's dole queues. Not only will the rise take the overall rate to a post-war record of 11 per cent by 2010, but it will wipe out all job creation in the last two years. Exports and investment are also expected to suffer harshly, dropping by 12.75 per cent and 10.5 per cent in 2009.
The grisly data comes just days before the European Central Bank (ECB) is meeting to set eurozone interest rates. The bank is expected to drop the rate by 25 basis points to 1 per cent. It is also widely tipped to introduce other measures. Possibilities include lending to banks at fixed interest rates for longer than the current six months, and also the quantitative easing already being pursued by the Bank of England.
Howard Archer, at IHS Global Insight, said: "It looks likely the ECB will increasingly focus on 'non-standard' measures to boost economic activity. There is significant speculation it could announce it is to start purchasing assets, with bonds issued by banks among the most likely options."

(Extract from the Iraqi Resistance's Open Letter to the White House)
The Unipolarity which America worked for decades to achieve has collapsed, and it has lost its position in the world. Its economy has slumped and fallen into the trap of financial crisis; its repercussions that will last for a long time. Some countries revolted against America and it was not able to support its allies. It has wasted huge amounts of taxpayers money which would have been more sensibly spent on scientific programs, human security, world peace and the preservation of the environment. Billions of reconstruction funds were stolen in the largest fraud of the modern era with coordination between the leaders of the Green Zone and the large American companies which specialize in occupying countries, and bringing down regimes; all to keep the wealth flowing into the pockets of those warlords and vampires.
The number of deaths suffered by the occupation troops has exceeded forty thousand and the number of injured has exceeded ninety thousand; and those who survived were not able to survive the wounds of madness, mental disorder and the types of diseases that has result to committing suicide. This outcome was not recorded by the U.S. Army before, It’s really a terrible situation.

The World Melts Down, China Grows
By: Dilip Hiro - 04.05.2009
Conscious of the volatility of the Middle East, the leading source of oil exports, China has scoured Africa, Australia, and Latin America for petroleum and natural gas deposits, along with other minerals needed for industry and construction, notes Dilip Hiro. Defying the Economic Odds
In the midst of the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression, a new world order is emerging — with its center gravitating towards China. The statistics speak for themselves. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) predicts the world's gross domestic product (GDP) will shrink by an alarming 1.3% this year. Yet, defying this global trend, China expects an annual economic growth rate of 6.5% to 8.5%. During the first quarter of 2009, the world's leading stock markets combined fell by 4.5%. In contrast, the Shanghai stock exchange index leapt by a whopping 38%. In March, car sales in China hit a record 1.1 million, surpassing the US for the third month in a row.
"Despite its severe impact on China's economy," said Chinese President Hu Jintao, "the current financial crisis also creates opportunity for the country." It can be argued that the present fiscal tsunami has, in fact, provided China with a chance to discard its pioneering reformer's leading guideline. "Hide your capability and bide your time" was the way former head of the Communist Party Deng Xiaoping once put it. No longer.
Recognizing that its time has indeed come, Beijing has decided to play an active, interventionist role in the international financial arena. Backed by China's $2 trillion in foreign exchange reserves, its industrialists have gone on a global buying spree in Africa and Latin America, as well as in neighboring Russia and Kazakhstan, to lock up future energy supplies for its ravenous economy. At home, the government is investing heavily not only in major infrastructure, but also in its much neglected social safety net, its health care system, and long overlooked rural development projects — partly to bridge the increasingly wide gap between rural and urban living standards.
Among those impressed by the strides Beijing has made since launching its $585 billion stimulus package in September is the Obama administration. It views the continuing rise in China's GDP as an effective corrective to the contracting GDP of almost every other major economy on the planet, except India's [Treat with caution. Indian journalist's automatic spin]. So it has stopped arguing that, by undervaluing its currency — the yuan — with respect to the US dollar, China is making its products too cheap, thus putting competing American goods at a disadvantage in foreign markets.

The diseased west is on its way out. And look who's in:
'Unhappy China' bestseller claims Beijing should 'lead the world'
A new book claiming that China is a victim of Western bullying and "should rise up and lead the world" has soared to the top of the country's bestseller list.
By Malcolm Moore in Shanghai - 29.3.2009 - Updated 5.5.09
On the eve of the G20 summit in London, "Unhappy China" stirred debate about whether China should have a greater role on the world stage. Although the country will soon overtake Japan as the world's second-largest economy, China is not included in the G8 and is a second tier member of the G20. Beijing has little influence in the World Bank or the International Monetary Fund and is highly vulnerable to changes in the value of the dollar.
"We still feel suppressed because we are sometimes condemned or criticised by the western world," said Zhang Xiaobo, the book's publisher.
The five authors of the book advocate a tougher line against China's enemies, including punishment for President Nicholas Sarkozy of France, who met the Dalai Lama last year. The book takes a robust view of Western criticism of China's behaviour in Tibet. "You can start a war if you have the guts, otherwise shut up!" it says.
Another passage reads: "If China stood as the world's top country, it would not act like the United States, which has been irresponsible, lazy and greedy and engaged in robbery and cheating. They have brought economic recession to the whole world."
The book is the latest sign of growing Chinese nationalism, a trend that became highly visible during the riots in Tibet last March.
Spurred on by the government, Chinese nationalists vented their anger at the depiction of Tibet in the West and at the protests over the Olympic torch passing through Paris and London.
Meanwhile, the recent confrontation between America and China over the harassment of a US surveillance ship in the South China sea and Beijing's proposal that the dollar should be replaced as the global reserve currency, have shown China's potential for greater military and economic power.
"Unhappy China" is already into its second print run, while China's major web portals and social networking sites have their own "Unhappy China" forums.

Rebellion at Georgian military base
By: Al Jazeera on: 05.05.2009 Troops at a Georgian military base have launched a "rebellion", David Sikharulidze, the country's defence minister, has said.
Sikharulidze said the troops of a tank battalion at the Mukhrovani base in the Gori region had begun the rebellion early on Tuesday morning.
It is aimed at "disrupting Nato exercises and overturning the authorities militarily," Sikharulidze told Rustavi-2 television. "The rebellion continues. Law enforcement agents are on the scene," he said.
Several top Georgian defence ministry officers have been arrested for involvement in the coup, the Georgian interior ministry announced.
"A coup plot has been exposed," Shota Utiashvili, an interior ministry spokesman, said. "The organisers were former high-ranking defence ministry officials."

During the Asian financial crisis of 1997, IMF had prescribed a recovery package for Malaysia, but Mahathir defied international pressure, his then Deputy Anwar Ibrahim, and conventional wisdom in rejecting the package.
Mahathir is credited with spearheading the phenomenal growth of the Malaysian economy, now one of the largest in Southeast Asia.
Mahathir's public remarks about Jews date back as early as 1970 when he wrote in his controversial book The Malay Dilemma: "The Jews for example are not merely hook-nosed, but understand money instinctively."
In 1997, during the financial crisis, he attributed the collapse of the Malaysian ringgit to a conspiracy of Jews against a prosperous Muslim state: "The Jews robbed the Palestinians of everything, but in Malaysia they could not do so, hence they do this, depress the ringgit."
On 16 October 2003, shortly before he stepped down as prime minister, Mahathir said during a summit for the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) in Putrajaya, that:
“ We Muslims are actually very strong, 1.3 billion people cannot be simply wiped out. The Nazis killed 6 million Jews out of 12 million during the Holocaust. But today the Jews rule the world by proxy. They get others to fight and die for them. They invented socialism, communism, human rights and democracy so that persecuting them would appear to be wrong so they may enjoy equal rights with others. With these they have now gained control of the most powerful countries. And they, this tiny community, have become a world power.”
He also named Israel as "the enemy allied with most powerful nations."

(I) ECONOMIC INDICES AND THE WEALTH OF NATIONS
(This is the first instalment in a series on the trends that led to the present financial crisis)
By Dr. Mahathir Mohamad (23.4.09)
1. We all believe that the great economically developed countries achieved prosperity through their genius in economic management and their skills in business. They are also seen to be able to govern their countries well.
2. They had developed various indices to indicate the level of prosperity they had achieved. And gleefully they compared these indices, especially per capita incomes and Gross Domestic Product, with those of the poor countries, to show how competent they were in the management of their economies. The poor are poor because they did not learn how to manage their countries. They should be regarded as failed states.
3. The claim by the rich that they were good in management and governance is only partly true. They did produce goods, provide services and they traded domestically and internationally. But their wealth from these activities is not as big as they made out to be. If the per capita and GDP are based only on these real businesses they would not be as rich as they claim to be. Certainly the United States and Britain would actually be nearly bankrupt.

(II) THE BANKING SYSTEM AND THE FALSE ECONOMY
(April 25, 2009)
1. Another contributor towards the per capita and GDP of the rich countries is the banking business.
2. Banks are apparently allowed to lend more money than they have, sometimes as much as ten times more. When they lend this money which they do not have, it became their asset on which interest can be earned.
3. Effectively they are creating money and earning profits from the money they have created.
Continue reading THE BANKING SYSTEM AND THE FALSE ECONOMY.
http://chedet.co.cc/chedetblog/2009/04/the-banking-system-and-the-fal.html#more
(III) CURRENCY TRADING (April 28, 2009)
1. Currency trading is another non-real contributor to the wealth of the rich countries. The trading again involves non-existent money. Banks would lend as much as 30 times the amount of investors' money held by the traders. The loan is again made up of bank created money. So also would be the investors' money if they borrowed from the banks.
2. The huge borrowings by the currency traders enable them to manipulate the market; pushing the value of the currency up or down. When the value of the currency changes the traders make a profit. Since the currency traders control trillions of dollars, their profits would be huge, and so would the dividends paid to the investors.
3. The trade in currency is estimated to be 20 times bigger than total world trade. The earnings per dollar invested would be higher than the dividends from production and trading in goods and provision of services. The investors and traders would therefore earn far more than what they would expect if they were to invest only the money they really have.
http://chedet.co.cc/chedetblog/2009/04/currency-trading.html#more
(IV) THE HEDGE FUNDS (May 4, 2009)
1. The business done by the hedge funds is more complex. But they too can borrow up to 30 times the investors' money they hold. They are therefore able to earn for the investor the profits from 30 times the investors' money. Even after paying interest to the banks and taking their share or commission, the earnings to the investor from 30 times his money would be very big - certainly far bigger than if the investor were to invest directly himself.
2. It is estimated that the 8000 hedge funds manage a total of 620 trillion dollars. Such is their game that the investors are assured of high profits. How they invest is often shrouded in secrecy. Much use is made of tax haven where they need not submit accounts of their shady business.
3. The poorer countries are not much involved in the shadow businesses and their indices would reflect their economy much more accurately.

RE: Beijing Should Lead the World
No need for military invasion of Taiwan
That would be in bad taste, there is no sense in Chinese people killing Chinese people.
No, let Taiwan acquire American arms, while at the same time relying more on China for its economy and allowing it to own more and more Taiwan companies.
The world has changed and America and its allies are still fighting using a WWII mentality.
China will want its soldiers, er private military contractors ;), in Africa. To guard against "intervention"...

In recent days the Iraqi Resistance has suddenly found itself energised again. Katyusha missiles have hailed down on Qadisiyah and Ghazalani bases, a sniper has been busy in Ramadi City (Anbar Prov) and mortar attacks have taken on al Bakr Air Base. At a time when we ourselves are feeling none too bright, it is a salutary reminder that others worse off are still fighting the good, the indispensable fight.

Mexico downplaying the "pandemic", totalitarian Britain doing its best to keep it alive. Take a look at this:

Now think the Brits have just left Iraq with their 179 dead soldiers (hah!). The other Iraqi casualties, it will be claimed, got the swine virus and ended up in one of those mass graves, along with dissenting people, dissidents, bloggers and the like. Neat, what!

China warns US against naval provocation
Wed, 06 May 2009
China has blamed the White House for the latest naval confrontation between the countries, accusing the US of violating its maritime boundaries.
"The Chinese side expresses its concern and has demanded that the US side take measures to avoid similar events from happening again," read a Wednesday statement by the Chinese Foreign Ministry, AFP reported.
The ministry complained of a Tuesday incident when a US military ship reportedly ventured into restricted waters in the Yellow Sea prompting action by two Chinese fishing vessels.
"The US surveillance vessel USNS Victorious violated relevant international laws and Chinese laws and regulations by entering into China's exclusive economic zone in the Yellow Sea without china's approval," the statement added.
The Chinese military claims it was forced to react to four such violations by the Victorious and its fellow navy vessel Impeccable in the Yellow Sea and the South China Sea.
The Pentagon has branded the responses as 'aggressive' saying the navy had been conducting 'routine patrols'.
The patrols, however, have been described as forming parts of calculated surveillance operations which the US conducts against foreign submarines.
The US charges that Beijing's rising military strength is the reason behind increasing naval confrontations between the two countries.
Beijing maintains that it is entitled to the marine resources in the zone saying it has been permitted by the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea as well as its own regulations to direct maritime movements there.

As much as some of us would like, no savior will save America from its problems.
Whether Obama succeeds or fails in his presidency, he will not be able to fix the many problems that we have. Further, he will be restricted by political and corporate forces in achieving his agenda. There are far too many problems in America -- in education, entertainment, the environment and energy, the economic system, unemployment, crime, poverty, mental illness, restricted health care, drugs and addiction, discrimination, obesity and toxic foods, mass depression and prescription drug use, and on and on.
And consider that there is no more money either. Trillions have been spent trying to prop up the collapsing financial system, and now our Treasury is dry, and higher taxes are coming. To wait for the present administration to help us solve all our problems is a foolish idea. We will have to save ourselves Saviours cannot save US; no saviors will save us from our problems.
Not even Jesus, the Christ.

hello all,

i'm here... sorry for me absence. doing NBN and ailing a bit, but nothing new. i was told the cough lasts 6 mo and i still have it, now with ear infection that knocked me out of circulation for a few days....

thanks for your news and keeping the blog going. strangely, jamesW is missing as well. odd week.

------------------

10:49 -- Blair ideal citizen
great comment! right and wrong citizens and religious compatibility... in general, state compatibility is truly the stuff all nazi dictatorships are made of. blair does more than all the bloggers to explain how sordid, in every aspect, the west is.

----------------------------

10:55 -- swine/bird flu
what's happening? so USA disease folks, the very ones that gave us AIDS (with huge likelihood), SARS, and bird flu, and swine flu (for Cuban attack) are screaming pandemic but there appears to be a handful of deaths and only 2000 some confirmed cases world wide. israel and USA/UK murderers kill more children in 6 months.

so what's behind it? food shortage through mandatory slaughter of pigs like in Egypt? city quarantines, blockades, and FEMA camps becoming quarantine centres? new vaccinations for everyone with who knows what? could be linked to FEMA research into USA mass graves sites and explanation for the plastic coffins like 8:06 comment says.

whatever it is, it's CLEAR beyond doubt that the west child murdering scum is NOT giving up and will use anything and everything until their very end.

--------------------------------

15:01 -- China separates from dollar
right, yuan is headed for convertibility and appears to be at least half undervalued with respect to dollar.

---------------------------------

16:37 -- on "Sidelines"
not wishing to either be "arrogant" or "over explaining". it's just to separate the news from some commentary. that's all. so if you see 'sideline' or 'sidenote' or whatever i've used before, and get what the news blip means, just skip my sideline drivel. if the news makes little sense, i try to add some things to it. but in general, i neither want to overexplain or swell my own ego or whatever. btw, sidelines should be used by mainstream west mindrapists, cuz ALL of their news, 100% of it, is totally out of context and spun beyond recognition.

they do that on purpose so that people, though constatntly reading, have no clue where each news barf belongs and what the overall picture is.

so 'sideline' is just that... adding stuff to the commentary.

for example, the prolapsed GM USA firm floated by 50B USD in free cash is trading bonds for new shares. now, this makes NO sense, even to those who get all the words in the sentence. so some thought and explanation is necessary here. and for me too! i'm part of the daft crowd so a lot of time the sideline is for me more than others. quite evidently, the NBN readership is brighter than me, so don't think of it as some master's teaching... it's not.

like with GM, it has to be explained, which is what the mainstream west mindrapists deliberately DON"T do that the dead firm is a) issuing NEW stock and dumping the old "toxic" one (exactly like west banks are doing) and b) asking bond holders (or loan providers) to give up their monthlies from GM for this new stock scam. this is some wily stuff going on with the west voodoo accounting. even the brightest of people cannot possibly understand this because it's all new and all insane beyond reason and words. so hence the sidelines.

or when obama says he's PULLING OUT of Iraq a sideline is necessary to explain that leaving 50K troops PERMANENTLY stationed in Iraq is really not a PULL OUT of any kind. the sidelines are really necessary because the west media is such a lying whore.

----------------------------------

17:55 -- EUnuchs up to eyeballs in problems...

indeed. great comment! thanks!

----------------------------------

8:41 -- Pakistan/Taliban summary
yes, the west spin here makes the thing very complicated pitting Taliban against Pakistan and so on. i like this summary cuz it's clearcut to the point. the west bit off more than it can chew. it's gonna choke on the obama's Pakistan attack. the rest is just stuff to muddy up the truth. Pakistan is west's another Stalingrad, a black hole into which the west will piss their troops and cash until fully bloodlet and anemic as the west psycho royalties.

---------------------------------

16:54 -- Swiss -- 52K clients fingered by USA bank looters

right... this is hand in hand with obama's USA tax revamp extending USA taxes abroad to all multinationals (firms/indivs). this is FUNNY! this will precipitate, not only the end of the Swiss and like banking but exodus from USA. and it's not poor people who'll begin their migration seeking after work but rich seeking after keeping out of USA jails. i wouldn't be surprised if USA enacted some law that outlaws getting rid of USA citizenship.

-----------------------------------

18:00 -- israel
it has to be remembered that jews are official minority at some 49% today within the borders of the UK/USA carved land called israel. despite all west efforts to genocide all gentiles (non-jews) in israel, it's not happening. the growth rate is some 4-5X in favour of Arabs inside israel and there is no way this can be stopped. this was clear 10 yrs ago and obvious 5. it's reality today. Arabs are majority in israel.

-----------------------------------

21:48 -- twitter? moi?

no, that's not me

------------------------------------

6:42 -- coward? moi?
yes, that's me. absolutely! how can you not be. the west scum murder children for fun. this is NOT an overstatement, spin, or some crazed hyperbole. it's fact!

design diseases are launched from west on the world. nations are buried in nuke garbage. west is full of baboons that believe boeings can spontaneously vapourise and steel can melts for no reason and who are deeply innately racist. the mighty continent of Africa has seen such unspeakable massacres, experiments that they cannot be put in words. the west psychos are totally bent on the total and complete annihilation of all non-saxon life on this planet. maybe this is a lie here... maybe they plan to keep some non-saxons for slaves... but either way... the west commits daily eco-crimes that are destroying this planet sustainability, replacing KNOWN poisons for food supplies everywhere...

this is war. not a cold war. not a talk war. this is a total nuke war on all non-west life on the planet and it's been raging since the winter of 2001.

yes, i'm a total coward cuz the west psychopath child murderers are not only wanting but capable of killing, torturing, terrorising us all, no matter how far you try move yourself and family out of their range.

there's signs of the west rape everywhere, from islands in the Pacific, south tip of Chile, high altitudes of Colombia, Caribbean islands,... this planet bears wounds from the constant 2000 yr long west christianic opus dei USA/UK saxon genocide, pillage, and rape. many are still bleeding....

so yes, i'm a total coward and fear the baboons' unmatched stupidity which is the prime muscle of the west disease. and i fear the non-human child murdering psychosis that disgorges daily out of the diseased west war elite junta's lizard brainstems.

and i'm thankful for Russia's incredible counter offensive not just in 1941/2 but today for it is the only force that proved to at least derail the west genocidal plans.

and i marvel and try highlight the mental and physical tidal wave rising against the west disease throughout the Freeworld today.

EU targets transit treaty with Middle East, Central Asia
Europe News (May 6, 2009)
Prague - The European Union will ask Turkey and energy exporters such as Egypt and Iraq to sign up to a new treaty on oil and gas transit at a summit in Prague on Friday, according to a draft declaration seen by the German Press Agency dpa.
The bloc will also ask energy producers to set aside specific volumes of oil and gas for its use, as the EU bids to guarantee energy supplies in an increasingly competitive world.
And it will press Turkey to agree within weeks the rules covering the 'Nabucco' pipeline, the highest-profile energy project in the region so far, in a bid to kick-start construction of the project.
According to the draft declaration, which EU diplomats revised on Wednesday, the EU and key energy producers and transit countries want to see 'the establishment of a Corridor Agreement' setting out the rules on how energy supplies should be transported, how much transit countries should charge and how the fees should be shared out.
Such an agreement would bind the EU and Azerbaijan, Egypt, Georgia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan - the countries of the EU's so-called 'Southern Corridor' - in a single contract on energy transport for the first time.
Future cooperation should also include 'the identification of non- committed natural gas and oil volumes by producer countries that can be dedicated specifically to the EU.'
Energy producers should provide 'a precise timetable for their availability on the basis of their commercial profitability.'
And Turkey, the single most important transit route to Europe, should sign a separate contract with EU members setting out the rules and fees for the Nabucco pipeline 'by June 2009,' the draft says.
In return, the EU should give 'reliable commitments' on the amount of fuel it will buy, to ensure 'transparency, competitiveness, long-term predictability and stable regulatory conditions.'
And it should offer its partners the technology and investment they need to upgrade their own energy systems and use their resources more efficiently, the draft says.
The EU is keen to reduce its dependency on Russian gas, which currently accounts for a quarter of all the gas burned in the bloc.
To that end, the bloc is pushing for the construction of three new pipelines in the region which would ultimately bring natural gas from the Caspian basin, Iran and Iraq to Europe.
Nabucco, the highest-profile of the three, is planned to link the EU to existing pipelines crossing Georgia and Iran. It is tipped to come into operation in 2014.
The second, known as ITGI, is designed to link Greece and Italy to gas networks in Turkey and the Caspian. It is set to open in 2012.
White Stream, the newest project, is intended to carry gas under the Black Sea from Georgia to Ukraine or EU member Romania. It is planned to begin operations in 2016.

Lahore Attack Mossad & Co. strikes again
Written by www.daily.pk
Wednesday, 06 May 2009
“Al-Qaida is the top secret code name of special covert operations of the U.S. CIA, Israeli Mossad, British SIS, Indian RAW. Al-Qaida is a fake name, an imaginary illusion, a deceptive fraud, a fictitious hoax and a fraudulent scam of the unlawful war of terror, which is still being cunningly and clandestinely supported and promoted by the CIA, Mossad, SIS, RAW, and the Corrupt Mercenary Media (CMM) to frame, blame, defame, harm and kill Pakistanis, Kashmiris, Afghans, Arabs, Muslims and other innocent humans by falsely and maliciously labeling them as the Al-Qaida militants, extremists, or terrorists. Actually, Al-Qaida or Al-CIA-da is the CIA. Al-Qaida is the Mossad. Al-Qaida is the SIS. Al-Qaida is the RAW. Al-Qaida is the ISI. Al-Qaida is the CMM. The CIA, Mossad, SIS, RAW, ISI and the CMM are the real Al-Qaida or ‘the Evil 6′. For the sake of international peace, reform or abolish the CIA, Mossad, SIS, RAW and the ISI; oppose and expose the CMM; and end the illegal war of terror now to reduce global terrorism. Indeed, imperialistic military occupation of any country, state, or nation is state terrorism. Civil terror is a natural reaction to government terror.” - Professor Hafiz Muhammad Saeed, president of JUD, Pakistan.
The Army was the only Pakistani institution which was treated with utmost respect by the great majority of Pakistanis before its top general, allowed Bush Zionist administration to destroy its next-door Muslim nation of Afghanistan, which has many many centuries of political, social and religious relations with the people who call themselves Pakistanis since August 14, 1947.
His fatal decision brought the culture of terrorism, bombing and killing of innocents into Pakistan - whose greatest target happens to be Pakistan Army and Pakistan’s security forces. Before 2002 - there is no history of Pakistanis targetting military personnel. So, the question comes to mind: “Why and who are behind this terrorism?”
The answers can be found among the world powers and international vultures and national traitors, who doesn’t want the only Muslim nuclear country to become stable, prosperous and its four provinces to stay united - after the fifth province, East Bengal (now Bangladesh), was snatched away through Indian invasion in 1971.
All the terrorist attacks blamed on the so-called “Islamist groups”, such as the Lal Mosque Islamabad) carnage; Islamabad Marriott Hotel bombing; attack on Sri Lanka’s cricket team; bombing of mosque near Pakistan-Afghan border, and now the attack on Lahore Police Academy - one must remember, who trained and armed these so-called “Islamist terrorists” and use them against Russians in Afghanistan for America to become the ’sole world superpower’?
The reality is that behind the smoke-screen of “Islamist terrorism” - it’s foreign intelligence agencies like India’s RAW; Israel’s Mossad, America’s CIA and Britain’s MI6 - which all have the same agenda - to destroy the only Muslim nuclear power by paving the way to install fifth pro-USrael military dictatorship in Pakistan’s 62-year existence.
Ahmed Quraishi, a Kuwaiti journalist and host of PTV-News - in his March 30, 2009 column wrote:
“A second Mumbai-style attack in Lahore in less than a month, both targgeting Lahore, a city that has tradionally bore the brunt of Indian-inspired terrorism inside Pakistan.
The level of training of these people and choice of targets leaves little doubt that someone is trying to teach Pakistan a lesson. It’s baffling to see interior advisor, Rehman Malik, so eager to quickly pin the blame on groups such as Lashkar Tayyeba or Lashkar Jhangvi that were active in Kashmir struggle in the past and are dormant now……Why is Mr. Malik not willing to consider the possibility of Indian involvement? Is he afraid of upetting the Brits or the Americans?…Additionally where are those local agents of Indian intelligence that were arrested from various Pakistani cities in the past few weeks and months near both the Indian and Afghan borders?
The only country other than the US that has an elaborate Pakistan focussed intelligence set-up in Afghanistan is India. The Indians are actively using the chaos in Afghanistan to create a wedge between the US and Pakistan by actively supporting terrorist elements in Pakistan……
This is also the time to neutralize elements in Pakistani government such as President Zardari and Rehman Malik, whose assests, lives, and apparently loyalties lies outside Pakistan. Democracy cannot be allowed to become a Trojan horse for foreign powers to meddle in Pakistan.”
Jewish Lobby’s puppet, Barack Obama, on Friday threatened Islamabad for more US military strikes inside Pakistan territory unless they keep killing each other for Israel. And if they agree to that - he offered US$1.5 billion per year bribe (matching with Egypt’s to protect Israel from Hamas) for the next five years.

For once, someone telling the truth about Pakistan and the horrid west terror wars.

Heard about the Eastern Partnership in Russia's backyard? Extract below:
The Eastern Partnership offers deeper bilateral relations and launches a new multilateral framework for cooperation, according to partner's needs and ambitions, i.e.:
New Association Agreements (for those partners that have made sufficient progress towards democracy, the rule of law, respect for human rights and principles of market economy, sustainable development and good governance);
better economic integration with the EU (with the objective of establishing deep and comprehensive Free Trade Areas);
Increased mobility through visa facilitation and readmission agreements;
Strengthened energy security cooperation, including through support for investment in infrastructure, better regulation, energy efficiency and more efficient early-warning systems to prevent disruption of supply;
improved administrative capacity of partner countries through jointly-decided ;Comprehensive Institution-Building Programmes' financed by the EU, and;
specific programmes addressing economic and social development in the partner countries.
One innovative component of the Eastern Partnership is a multilateral track consisting of four platforms, bringing the Eastern partners together to exchange experience and information on issues like:
Five high-profile initiatives ("flagship initiatives") in the framework of the multilateral track will serve member countries' interests via:
a border management programme;
integration of electricity markets, energy efficiency and renewables policies;
an SME facility,
a 'southern energy corridor', and;
Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine, all of which are poor East European and Caspian countries mostly bordering Russia, are suffering from the economic crisis, and the EU is keen to avert political instability in a region that carries all its gas imports from Russia.
The 'Eastern Partnership', with funding of 600 million euros ($799 million), will aim to promote democratic reform, economic integration and energy security in the six states.
"This is not anti-Russian," said Czech Deputy Prime Minister Alexandr Vondra, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency. "They are our close eastern neighbours and we have a vital interest in their stability and prosperity. This is an offer, not an EU projection of force ... and they are responding."
Russian Foreign Minster Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday he was trying hard to believe the EU was not trying to build a power base on Russia's borders.

U.S. Jobless Rate Hits 8.9%, but Pace of Losses Eases
The American economy lost another 539,000 jobs in April and the unemployment rate leapt to 8.9 percent, yet the deterioration was slightly milder than expected, buoying hopes that better days are approaching.
As more jobs are lost over time, there are less and less jobs to lose, so of course the numbers are going to come down.
And these numbers are based on people filing for unemployment. Those whose benefits have run out are not included and of course these numbers do not show the large numbers of Americans who have lost high-paying jobs and are working for much lower-paying jobs today ... which means they are struggling to make their mortgage and credit card payments.

TAIWAN - CHINA AGREED TO TRADE IN NON-US DOLLAR
07.05.2009
This is just another nail into the USA dollar coffin. The collapse of the Euro and US dollar WILL FREE THE WORLD from parasite monarchies, their bankers and their warmonger religion.
Remember almost all central banks are controlled by this cartel; by trading, buying, piling gold and silver their base of power will vanish. Not only that, THE THIRD WORLD WILL HAVE THE BEST ECONOMIC TIMES AS THE COMMODITY PRICES WILL NOT BE KEPT AT 1930 PRICES WHEN ADJUSTED FOR INFLATION; once they lose their financial power the price of raw materials, energy, grains, etc will be priced at real values!

Junk of the Day:
- Brit banks receive another £50 bn in cash and still that is not enough, Bracing for a third wave of financial crisis. Weren't they telling us only yesterday Barclay's had turned a profit?
- Chavez seizes assets of oil contractors.
- Exodus of Pakistani citizens from Swat. Remember the exodus engineered by the west of Kurds in Iraq, Kosovars in ex-Yugoslavia?
- Fanny Mae suffers $23 bn loss, AIG, $4.35 bn. Geithner = Con Man, Stress Test = Confidence Game (Time Mag).
- Found nothing else to say, so now we are being warned of a swine flu-bird flu mix. Oh my Gawd!
- Israeli miilitary deeply involved in Tamil Tigers massacre.

Since Pakistan was mentioned here, may we point out that Al-Qaida, like the so-called "Pakistani Taliban" have nothing whatsoever to do with either Pakistan or Muslims. Both groups are run by what one calls the Evil Six.
Al-Qaida or Al-CIA-da is 1) the CIA, 2) Al-Qaida is the Mossad, 3) Al-Qaida is the British SIS. 4) Al-Qaida is the Indian RAW. 5) Al-Qaida is the ISI, Pakistan's own Inter-Services Intelligence. 6) Al-Qaida is the CMM (Corrupt Mercenary Media). The CIA, Mossad, SIS, RAW, ISI and the CMM are the real Al-Qaida or ‘the Evil 6′. Bringing them down is what we suspect the Afghans and the Pak army will do in the near future.

Second World War Day being celebrated with a great deal of pomp all over. What's there to celebrate, I ask? That nasty war the Russians won with such courage and dexterity led to over 60 years of: Americano-Anglo hegemony, the Cold War, end of colonisation rapidly replaced by post and neocolonialism, artificial wealth for the west and poverty for the rest of us, social-engineering on an horrendous scale and the present terror wars. I really don't see what there is to celebrate. But boys will be boys, I suppose.

More about Zionist ethnic cleansing. Chasing Palestinians away from their homes. It must be said. Historical documentary with good information. More junk as 9.10 says.

Today is one of those days when the newsaholic blogger gets the queasy sense his Freeworld side is distinctly on the verge of defeat.
.The media distinctly upbeat about the economiy thanks to roaring gains on the stockmarket. What to answer there?
.Zioisrael's ethnic cleansing going on apace (see above). Is this really how countries can hope to survive in 2009? And USans are hunkering down in Afghanistan and Iraq and proclaiming they are never ever going to leave again. No comment for the moment.
.About Pakistan, it's all growing murker and murkier. It is even claimed the country's nuclear weapons are in US hands and have been so since 2001. And India's RAW is manipulating every disatisfied Paki who ever took breath. Raw lies, we'd say, but then again what do we know for sure?
.Merely this one thing: the Swine Flu is definitely on its way out as a crowd-catcher. No mention of it in any Sunday paper or blog. Just as I started showing suspicious symptoms myself... O whe, O weh. Anyone feeling more optimistic this morning?

Russia warns foes in Soviet-style show
Stuart Williams – SMH.au May 9, 2009
Russia on Saturday sternly warned its foes not to dare make any aggression against the country, as it put on a Soviet-style show of military might in Red Square including nuclear capable missiles.
The display to mark the 64th anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany came amid renewed tensions with NATO, whose decision to hold war games in Russia's Caucasus foe Georgia has been blasted a provocation by Moscow.
"We are sure that any aggression against our citizens will be given a worthy reply," President Dmitry Medvedev said in a speech in Red Square, side-by-side with powerful Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.
"The victory over Fascism is a great example and a great lesson for all peoples and is still current today when people are again starting military adventures," he added.
Before handing over to Medvedev as president last year, Putin resurrected the Soviet practice - dropped after Communism - of having missiles and heavy tanks rumbling over the Red Square cobbles in front of Russia's leaders.
Thousands of troops marched past Medvedev and Putin, before dozens of heavy tanks thundered through Red Square to the sound of martial music.
There was a rare public showing for some of Russia's best known missile systems, including the S-300 and S-400 anti-aircraft missiles and the Iskander-M.
As in 2008, Russia proudly showed off a half dozen examples of its nuclear-capable Topol intercontinental ballistic missile which has a range of over 10,000 kilometres. Squadrons of fighter jets also flew over Red Square.
Thousands of soldiers and over 100 items of hardware featured in the Red Square parade, which was matched by similar demonstrations across Russia involving almost 30,000 troops, officials said.
The parade was overseen by Defence Minister Anatoly Serdukov, a civilian ex-furniture salesman implementing a hugely controversial military reform to eliminate Soviet-era structures and prepare the army for modern warfare.
"Greetings comrades! I congratulate you on the 64th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War," Serdukov, dressed in a suit, told the soldiers from an open-top car.
"Hurrah!," shouted the soldiers, creating a huge wave of sound with the traditional Russian victory cry that shook Red Square.
So, Anon 08.01, what about this? Make you feel a bit better? Or Evo Morales' calm declaration he's a Marxist Communist? Or then China's HQ-9 surface-to-air missile under the name of FD-2000 recently put on the export market?
The HongQi-9/FD-2000 reportedly combines elements "borrowed" from Russia's S-300 and America's MIM-104 Patriot. [A Russian obsession, this, Everyone's always stealing their technological gains from them!]
It uses elements of the Russian system's "solid rocket, aerodynamic layout, gas-dynamic spoilers, and launcher technologies, as well as some search and guidance systems."
The missile has a range of 7-125 kilometers for airborne targets — a range much lower than the 150-kilometer range of the Russian S-300 PMU1.
The Chinese system's range for missile targets, or air-to-ground missiles, is 7-50 kilometers, with a firing altitude of 1-18 kilometers. Its range for cruise missiles is 7-15 kilometers, at a firing altitude of 0.025 kilometers. The range for ballistic missiles is 7-25 kilometers at a firing altitude of 2-15 kilometers.
As for Pakistan, believe what you like, but bear in mind that man proposes and God definitely disposes. Hurray!

Don't need any good news to keep the faith. Just listen to some nice music from DJ avivamagnolia compilations:

That is kind, thank you. I shall certainly listen to DJ avivamagnolia. And sorry about that moment of weakness. You are right about good news not being needed to keep the faith. But that's the way one is, isn't one, forgetful and easily depressed?

19:59: The facts are on the table for all to see. The lies, the injustice, the killing, the looting, and the rape. It is all collapsing like a house of cards because good and free peoples everywhere on this globe are united as one. ... and all the kings men cannot put Humpty Dumpty back together again.

Anonymous said...

Oh, you are absolutely right. Not for a second do I question that Humpty Dumpty has had a great fall and cannot be put together again. It was just all that awful stuff about Pakistan this morning that did my head in. I know much of it is spin. Then I forget it's spin and take the whole damn thing seriously. I've recovered somewhat now. All the more so since two messages to cheer me up have so kindly been posted. How could I be so ungrateful as to not shake off the gloom?

Dear friends, Just a thought or two.

1. It seems to me that the economy and financial collapse has far better coverage by rogue investigative minds on the mainstream media than the zero rogue commentators allowed to talk on the Zionist wars and false flag attacks to justify these wars. Why?

2. Below please find a selected list of such excellent economic commentators. All have really great videos that proclaim doom and gloom. Here my question: why do all these supposedly independent rogue commentators refer to each other down to the letter. Have they formed a club?

See for yourself, check out who they recommend you should see:

For example, "Interesting Blogs To Visit Daily according to Jim Rogers Blog"

(Jim Rogers Blog is refered to by the others below, and has an interesting video called "China is the superpower of the 21 st century the future is in Asia")

Jim Rogers list is as follows (but check out each of these blogs to find out who they refer you to as best blogs -- you find the same names):

Down to the spelling, it's the same. They've defintely clubbed up, but whether that makes their gloom and doom message weaker, I don't know. In any case, I happen to prefer poiuytr's approach to the econ. At least him, I know, I can trust.

poiuytr? Yes, I'd stick to his version as well. No spin, no scam, no sleaze.

Yes, you got my 'splains right on the button, and "down to the spelling".

I agree, it does not necessarily weaken their arguments. Still, the correlation is astonishing and very curious.

And I would not have expected Warren Buffet to be on the list of anti-establishment buffets.

By the way, now peter schiff is considering to run for a senate seat (he must have gotten a wink from Buffet).

http://peterschiffchannel.blogspot.com/2009/05/peter-schiff-is-considering-to-run-for.html
'in this video he talks about the damped employment loss figures)

So how come these guys have access to the media and nobody else? People like poiuytr about the Zionist wars, Diago Garcia, 911, Anthrax, Swine Flu, London 7/7?

Anonymous said...

Ps. Got it! Sorry. Here is my 'splains: These are "Fans based blogs" evidently all by the same "Fan".

Still, the questions stand: access to media v/s non for poiuytr.

Thanks for clearing that up A 11:30. All very curious, isn't it? As someone said above, even when they seem to be telling the truth, look out for the three s's: spin, scam and sleaze. As to why a poiuytr, for instance, has no access to the mainstream, you know why. He and others like him who refuse to be taken in are the enemies of the established order. Hope our poiuytr doesn't nourish political ambitions. He'd be in for a severe disappointement if he did.
